AMC HVAC actively tender for commercial air conditioning and ventilation projects within the greater Wellington region. On staff there is a qualified refrigeration engineer with many years of commercial air conditioning and ventilation experience.

Leading a team of trades people, apprentices and labourers, AMC HVAC undertake a diverse range of projects from traditional split system heat pumps through to more complicated VRV air conditioning and HVRF hydronic systems. AMC HVAC can not only carry out installation works but can also provide follow-up maintenance services.

With a dedicated 24hr service department, customers have assurance that any equipment installed on a project has full back-up in the event of any issues.

We ensure our staff regularly attend dealer training sessions. On-site and classroom training ensures all AMC staff are up-to-date with their trade and safety certifications.

Customers can be rest assured that AMC staff are certified with the appropriate safety qualifications. Daily risk analysis reports, task analysis reports and regular toolbox meetings are mandatory. Our incident/accident rates are very low and our compliance with customer and industry safety protocols are a main priority. Our staff are equipped with any safety equipment as required by the customer and as per standard industry requirements.

AMC carry out all of their own site measures and have solid sheet metal ductwork made locally. With an eye to a neat, tidy and compliant installation AMC are able to undertake ducting installation contracts which are tested and balanced by specialist commissioning firms.

PROBLEM SOLVING

AMC HVAC was engaged to modify an existing commercial heat pump system and to relocate the outdoor units. Due to the size of the odu’s a normal condenser cage wouldn’t work so we set about to work with the building contractor and customer to come up with an economical and cost-effective solution.

DESIGN ASSISTANCE

AMC HVAC was asked to convert an in-efficient and poorly piped in-slab water heating system from expensive gas to heat pump as a heating source. Liasing with the engineers and the customer, AMC HVAC came up with a solution that was efficient and effective.
